Complete all the exercises to get your overall PST score.
You failed an event. Therefore you failed the PST. Try again! Your PST score fails to meet the minimum standard to be considered for SEAL officer training. Navy SEAL officers are expected to lead from the front in all categories, especially in physical fitness. Continue to work on your weak areas and improve your PST score. Use the free tools on this website such as the Physical Training Guide and Combat Side Stroke Guide to help you craft a workout designed to improve PST scores. Train hard and never give up!
Not bad, but you could still improve! Your PST score is in the competitive range, but you may need to try harder to improve your chance of being chosen for SEAL officer training. SEAL officers are expected to lead from the front in all categories, especially in physical fitness, but do not be discouraged. Although physical fitness is an important quality of a SEAL officer, Naval Special Warfare looks for candidates who exemplify the entire package: physical fitness, discipline, resilience, innovation, intelligence and tenacious LEADERSHIP. Strive to improve yourself in all areas and you may well be selected!
Congratulations! Your PST score demonstrates you have the physical ability to be chosen for SEAL officer training! Remember, being a SEAL officer is not just about how many push-ups you can do or how fast you can run. Naval Special Warfare expects SEAL officer candidates to be disciplined, resilient, innovative, intelligent and tenacious LEADERS. If you embody all of these traits you will rise above the competition!
